Daughter of Heinrich (Henry) and Catherine (Propst) Rader. Wife of George Washington Smith. She and G. W. (George Washington) were married on March 24, 1836 in Greene County, Tennessee by Rev. George Easterly, Minister of the Gospel.
To this union were born nine children: John Franklin, Martha A., Emmanuel, Margaret E., William C., George A., McKindrie, Levina (Smith) Haney and Alfred H. Smith.
