Final Rites Set For Mrs. Buchanan
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. from the Smiley Methodist church for Mrs, Belle Buchanan, who died at the home of her son, Louie (Radford) Beach in Enid, Garfield County, Okla., Friday.
The Rev. L. Lear of Austin will conduct the services with burial to take place in the Floyd's Chapel cemetery. The body was brought from Oklahoma and is at Mennega Funeral home in Nixon.
Mrs. Buchanan, the former Belle McBride, was first married to (LeRoy "Roy" Lemotte Beach, Jr.) Roy Beach, who preceded her in death. She was later married to Nathan Buchanan and the couple had made their home for years in Smiley, Texas.
Ill for several months, Mrs. Buchanan had returned to Smiley for a visit only two weeks ago, her husband going back to Enid, Oklahoma with her.
Survivors include her husband and one son, Louis Beach. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Velma and Maybell Beach.
Also surviving are two stepchildren, Ray Buchanan of Houston and Mrs. Sam (Ulva) Dugger of Corpus Christi.
