BOLIVIA – Mr. Vincent Jewell McKeithan, age 80, of 486 Ocean Highway, Bolivia, died Thursday, November 25, 2004, at his residence.
Mr. McKeithan was born in Brunswick County on May 3, 1924, and was the son of the late L. Jewell and Gola Clemmons McKeithan. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Long McKeithan; and a brother, Ryan McKeithan. Mr. McKeithan was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He retired from The Sunny Point Military Ocean Terminal.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona Nadine McKeithan; a son, Richard D. McKeithan and wife Debra of Boiling Spring Lakes; two daughters, Teresa Watts (David Wagoner) of Bolivia, Debby Jenrette and husband Jimmy of Bolivia; a step-son, Robert Lancaster and wife Ina Beth of Leland; three step-daughters, Carolyn Clemmons and husband Tommy of Boiling Spring Lakes, Terry Duncan of Stafford, Va., Debbie Sherrill and husband Mike of Supply; grandchildren, Kevin McKeithan, Adam McKeithan, Shelby Jenrette, Angie Speights, Adam Clemmons, Megan Shrewsbury, Joey Lancaster, Faith Helton, Daphyne Long, Jessica Sherrill; three brothers, Curtis McKeithan of Norton, Va., Worth McKeithan of Baltimore, Md., Eunice McKeithan of Bremerton, Wa.; a sister, Linda Kauffman of Baltimore, Md.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be A.W. Clemmons, Dale Clemmons, Ricky Clemmons, Richard Crabtree, Michael Sherrill, Dwayne Kirby.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Carl Barefoot, Bobby Quattlebaum, Larry Clemmons, John McKeithan, Robert Lancaster.
