Mrs. Martha E. Rhine, 89, of Carson Valley, Box 293, Duncansville RD 1, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 1989, at her home. She was born Oct. 3, 1899, in Houtzdale, the daughter of James and Lilly (Tubbs) Garner, and married Merton J. Rhine, who died April 26, 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, D. Lorranine Stephens of Maple Hollow, Duncansville; two grandchildren And six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother, Joseph of Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Rhine was a member of the Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, and the Unity Sunday school class.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.
