Phoebe L. Rogers Of Millsboro, DE, age 99, died Saturday September 4, 1999 at Millsboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Georgetown, DE to the late Kingsbury and Mary Palmer Swain. Mrs. Rogers was a clerk-cashier for the American Store, later known as Acme Markets in Millsboro, for 21 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Millsboro. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Rogers, in 1974.
She is survived by a friend and caregiver, Josephine Dorey of Millsboro; a niece, Mildred Wilson of New Castle, DE and several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at the WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, DE, where friends may call 1 hour before the service. Interment Millsboro Cemetery.
