Mrs. Paul V. Stiller

Mrs. Sadie Violet Davis Stiller, 65, wife of Paul V. Stiller, died at her home, 13 Jervey Ave., at 4 pm Thursday after several years of declining health.
She was a native and lifelong resident of this city and a daughter of the late Wade Hampton and Rosa Powell Davis.
She was a member of Laurens Road Methodist Church, the Ladies Bible Class and Circle 2, of which she was chairman.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Richard Wall Jr. of Greer, Mrs. John B. Linville of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Carlos T. Scott of Greenville; and one son, James H. Stiller of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Tinie Causby of Greensboro, NC and Mrs. Maude Ivester of Anderson; four brothers, Homer, Emory, Amos and Belton Davis of Greenville and eight grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Mackey Mortuary.
The body is at the mortuary.
The family is at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Violet Davis Stiller, 65, of 13 Jervey Ave., wife of Paul V. Stiller, will be conducted today at 2:30 pm at the Laurens Road Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry M. Goewey, the Rev. D.W. Smith and the Rev R.W. Sammeth. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be C.E. Linville, C.F. (unreadable), E.N. Buckner, J.L. Rivers, R. Glenn Burdette and Eugene T. Gantt.
Honorary escort will be composed of the personnel of Piper Roofing Co., officers of Laurens Road Methodist Church, and Joe Piper, Sam Piper and Rodney Piper, C.J. F. Manly and S.H. Bowen.
Mrs. Stiller died Thursday. The body is at the Mackey Mortuary and will be placed in the church at 1:30 pm.
