Clara was the oldest lifelong member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was a past member of Highland Homemakers Club.
Clara married Emil Frederick Tepe on April 19, 1930 in Vanderburgh County, IN. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary Lou Asay and her husband, Joe of Evansville; grandsons, Joe Asay and his wife, Robin of Evansville; Don Asay and his wife, Sue of Haubstadt, IN.; six great-grandchildren.
