CPL Otis L. Jacks, son of Mrs. Dora Jacks, was born Sept. 26, 1926 at El Reno and attended El Reno High School. He entered the service at Oklahoma City on Oct. 6, 1944 and trained at Camp Hood TX. CPL Jacks served in the ETO with Co. B, 629 TD Bn., 1st & 3rd QM Cos., participating in the battles of the Rhineland and Southern Germany. He was with the Army of Occupation in Germany. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, Presidential Unit Citation and the EAME Medal w/2 Battle Stars.
