Mr. Rose was owner of Elmer Rose Trucking based in Laurel, MS in the 50's, later he took part in establishing Rose Mobile Homes of Hickory, MS and has worked closely with the Company for many years. He enjoyed many aspects of life, including traveling worldwide; his church, Decatur United Methodist church of Decatur, MS and his family.
Survivors include a son George Rose and his wife Nell of Meridian, MS, a daughter Ruth Caples of Meridian, MS; a brother Lushan Rose of Shreveport, LA; and a sister Jewel Rose of Texarcana, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren , 20 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lula Aarron Rose; his wife Helen Webb Rose; a son, Tommy E. Rose and a daughter Ellie Jo Brady.
Pallbearers: Billy Rose, Mike Stephens, Doug Stephens, Tom Rose, Tim Rose, Clay Rose, and Brian Caples.
