Glenda Harper Ball, age 90, Middlesboro, KY, formerly of Havilandsville, Harrison County, KY went to be the Lord, Wednesday evening, November 26, 2014. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Philip G. Ball. She was the surviving child of John Thomas Harper and Iva May Martin Harper.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Trish Ball of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Albany (Greg) Lawson of Kingsport, TN, Joey (Mindy) Brigmon of Pineville, KY; great-children: Aaron and Eric Lawson of Kingsport, and Joseph and Lane Brigmon of Pineville and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Moyer officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Brigmon, Eric Lawson, Greg Lawson, Mike Lester, Kevin Gordon and Pete Turnblazer. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
