Phyllis G. Inman

In Loving Memory of a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Phyllis G. Inman passed away at her residence on July 26, 2008 after a long illness. Phyllis was born on March 11, 1932 in Wadena, MN to Arthur and Jennie (Scribner) Dewey. She attended Wadena School through the 11th grade. She married Dean Inman on April 18, 1980 in Eckert, CO.; he precedes her in death. Previously married to Roman Ament with whom they had six children. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Sherman of Clifton, CO; Lori (Bob) Lancaster and Denise (Ed) Hicks both of Grand Junction, CO and son David (Gwen) Ament of Kailua-Kona, HI; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two sons, Robert Ament and Michael Ament preceded her in death. Her sisters, Dixie McKellep of Anaheim, CA; Alice Grangruth of Wadena, MN; Dutchie Langon of Downey, CA and Mary Lou Curtis of San Diego, CA, also survive her. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Phyllis was retired from Horizons Nursing Home where she was a dietary nutritionist. She was a board member for Housing Resources. Phyllis' family was foremost in her heart and family gatherings brought her the most joy as well as enjoying gardening, bird watching and fishing. A memorial service will be held on July 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Internment will be at Cedaredge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado at P.O. Box 60307, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
