He was an Air Force Veteran. He worked as a Real Estate Negotiator for the New York Power Authority in Blenheim, NY until his retirement. He moved to Homosassa from Middleburgh, NY 7 years ago. Mr. Alford was a member of the Masons in Stamford, New York. He enjoyed fishing and cooking barbecue. He was known for his outgoing personality and friendly nature. Mr. Alford was preceded in death by son, Christopher Shawn Alford and 3 brothers. Surviving is his wife, Bettye T. Alford, Homosassa, FL; 2 Sons: Thomas Lee Alford, Middletown, NY; Michael Lewis (Michelle) Alford, West Fulton, NY.
