Glenwood Ivan Underkoffler, 92, of Elizabeth Street, passed away Sunday, February 01, 2009 in the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Williamstown, April 18, 1916, he was a son of the late Rufus and Berdella Bowerman Underkoffler.

Glen was the retied co-owner of the former Underkoffler Coal Company, Lykens. He had also worked at the Susquehanna Coal Company, Williamstown.

He was a active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamstown.

Glen is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years: Olive A. Klock Underkoffler; his son: Glen E. "John" Underkoffler and his wife Andrea, Lykens; his granddaughter: Amanda Hawk, Riverside; his grandson: Jeffrey Underkoffler, Lykens; and, his nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 07, 2009 at 11:00 AM in his church with Rev. Kathleen Kueh officiatingl.

Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.
