Andrew was born Jan. 12, 1886 in Pawnee City, Pawnee, Nebraska, the son of Bengiman Davis and Margaret L. McDowel.

Andrew married Rhoda E. Bain on Oct. 30, 1912 in Minneapolis, Ottawa County, KS. They became the parents of three children: Verla Marie, Vance E. and Dean A. Davis.

He was preceded in death by his son Vance, in Feb. 1944, while Vance was serving in the U.S. Navy aboard submarine, USS Grayback, and his wife Rhoda E. (Bain) Davis in May 1951.

Andrew is survived by: daughter, Verla Leuck, son, Dean Davis, 2 step-brothers: Lilge and Faun Ramey of Clay Center, KS., 10 grandsons and 8 granddaughters and one great-grand-daughter.

Andrew was 81 years, 7 months, 1 day at time of death.
Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1967 at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel in Olathe with the Rev. Paul G. Cunningham officiating.
