Death Takes Mrs. Martin

Funeral rites for Mrs. E. E. Martin, 56, were to be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Basham Chapel, Rev. F. J. Schlosser and Rev. Cabe Smith officiating. The funeral cortege was to leave the residence, Hartselle 2, at 1:40 p.m. Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery, Brown directing.

Mrs. Martin died Wednesday at Baugh-Wiley Clinic, where she had been a patient for three days. A native and lifelong resident of Morgan County, she was well-known in this area.

She is survived by the husband; five daughters, Mrs. Earl Legg of Hartselle 2, Mrs. Woodrow Morris, Mrs. Lola White, Misses Imogene and Clara Faye Martin, all of Decatur; three sons, Wallace, Ishmel and Herschel Martin, all of Hartselle 2; six brothers, six sisters and 13 grandchildren.

Nephews were to be pallbearers.
