Thursday Rites For Charles Reid Held At Emhouse Charles T. (Tim) Reid, 80, died late Wednesday afternoon at his home near Emhouse. A native of Mississippi, he had resided in Navarro County for the past 45 years. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church of Emhouse Thursday at 3 p. m., with Elder W. T. Fugate, Palestine, officiating. Burial was in Pattison cemetery. Reid is survived by his wife, of Emhouse; five sons, C. T., Jr., San Angelo; J. E., Emhouse; A. T., Ennis; S. E., Daingerfield; and J. M. Reid, Borger; four daughters, Mrs. Milborn Lang, Rice; Mrs. W. S. Montgomery, Powell; Mrs. B. Wooten, Ennis; Mrs. Norman Blakeslee, Opelousas, La.; five brothers, J. B. Reid, San Juan, Texas; R. T. Cross Plains; A. C., Malakoff; T. T., Fort Worth; R, S. Tyler; four sisters, Mrs. W. H. Holland, Whitesboro; Mrs. E. M. Way, Corsicana; Mrs. W. E. Brown, Emhouse; and Mrs. Bessie Grohmann, Austin; 40 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and other relatives. Pallbearers were grandsons. Corley Funeral Home directed.
