Charles A Martin, prominent citizen, died at his home on Barbour St. yesterday afternoon, Mr. Martin has been too ill to attend to his business affairs for a moth or more, but was thought to be rapidly improving until the announcement of death came. Thursday morning he conversed with a friend , on his front porch and was on the streets recently, and it was thought that he might be restored to his former health. Yesterday, however he was seized with paralysis.
Deceased was a son of J G L Martin deceased, who was for years one of the most prominent citizens of the city and is a brother of J H G Martin of Washington. He is survived by his wife and numerous relatives and has host of warm friends in this section of the State
