Ray L. Douglas 54, of Forest, IN died on February 1, 2009 at 4:35 pm, in his home following a brief illness. He was born on April 12, 1954 in Tipton, IN, the son of Paul and Annie (Knipp) Douglas. He married Karen S. (Ringeisen) Milligan on April 19, 1986 in the Russiaville United Methodist Church and she survives. Mr. Douglas was a 1972 Clinton Central Graduate and a 1976 Indiana State Graduate with a degree in Business Management. He lived in Scircleville from 1954 until moving to Forest in 1975. Mr. Douglas was a quality assurance supervisor for Chrysler in Kokomo for the past 13 years. Prior to Chrysler, he was a manager at Ag Max for 15 years. He was a member of the Forest United Methodist Church and formerly sang in the church choir. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, was an avid Colts and Indiana Hoosiers Fan and loved to decorate for Christmas. Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Douglas of Forest, Indiana; parents,Paul & Annie Douglas of Tipton, Indiana; two daughters, Nikki (Andy) Parker of West Lafayette, Indiana and Stephanie Douglas of Trafalgar, Indiana; two sons,Patrick (Jennifer) Milligan of Frankfort, Indiana, and
Curt (Camon) Milligan of Lafayette, Indiana; one sister,
Pauletta (James) Simmons of Leesburg, Indiana; and two Grandchildren, Drew Parker and Dylan Milligan
Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, IN.
Mr. Douglas will be laid to rest at Geetingsville Cemetery.
