Valetta M. Bushong, 70, formerly of Homer, Mi. died , February 14, 2003, at Tendercare in Marshall MI.
Mrs. Bushong was born November 13, 1932, in Wyoming, MI to LeRoy and Nellie (Swayze) Bleam.
She married Craig Bushong May 26, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 1991.
For many years she worked for the A&P Grocery Store, Foodland, and Felpausch.
She attended Cook's Prairie Baptist Church, and enjoyed her grandchildren and being around people.
Her other hobbies included reading, bowling and traveling.
Survivors include a daughter, Claudette (Don) Tinney; a son, David (Kelley) Bushong ; a sister, Reatha Bushong; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kermit Bleam; a sister, Lila Beach; and two half brothers, Richard Radle and Don Bleam.
Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Homer, Michigan.
