Lottie Mae Carter, 93, died Monday, NOVEMBER 3, 2003 at her residence.

Mrs. Carter was a native and lifelong resident of Brantley County. She was a homemaker and a member of High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mars Hill cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Satilla, 1921 Alice St., Suite A-1, Waycross, GA 31501 or the Southeastern Cancer Unit, 401 Pendleton St., Waycross, GA 31501.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Music Funeral Home in Waycross.

Her husband, Mannen M. Carter, preceded Mrs. Carter in death.

Survivors include six daughters, Runell Adams of Covington, Francine Bennett of Millwood, Myra Tucker of Savannah, Wanda Davis of Hoboken and Lawanna Cook and DeLoyce Underwood, both of Brunswick; two sons, Norris Carter of Covington and Roger Carter of Brunswick; six sisters, Mary Wainright of Nahunta, Lucy McIntosh of Hilliard, Fla., Vannie Crews of Jacksonville, Zoie Meadows of Hoboken, Hazel Justice of Waycross and Susie Simms of Marietta; a brother, Jerome Lee of Birmingham, Ala.; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
