OBITUARY-THE TECUMSEH CHIEFTAIN
NOVEMBER 18, 1943

FORMER TECUMSEHITE DIED IN OMAHA

Wenzl Seidl died at the home of a son, John Seidl, with whom he had lived for fifteen years, in Omaha, Monday November 15, 1943. He had been failing for many years and his age was eighty-one years, six months and twenty-five days.
Born in Czechoslovakia in 1862 Mr. Seidl came to this country in his youth. He lived on a farm near Steinauer for years, later moving his family to Tecumseh, where he bought business and residence properties, and where, for fifteen years, with one or two of his sons, he was in the drug business on th west side of the square, and later in the grocery business on the south side of the square. Mrs. Seidl has been deceased for many years, and a daughter, Mary Carroll, died at Fremont.
The living children are John and Gabinus Seidl of Omaha, Wenzl J. Seidl of Lincoln and Mrs. Agnes Giese of Detroit. Mr. Seidl had always been a member of the Catholic church. He was a man of splendid morals, kind and loving to his family, and made friends in whatever community he resided.
