Fred Donald Pearson, 85, of London died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at Johnson Regional Medical Center at Clarksville. Born Dec. 16, 1917, at Lamar, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Dora Jane Mathews Pearson, a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and Bayliss Volunteer Fire Department, and attended Martin Chapel Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Patterson Pearson; a son, Jerry Donald Pearson; and 13 brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Jabonnia Pearson of London; a grandson, Scott Pearson of London; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Bonnita and Greg Bates of London, and Cheri Pearson of Benton; and several nephews and nieces.
