Born Feb. 27, 1911, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ephraiam and Josephine (Williams) Burford. She was a homemaker and member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Dale Fletcher, Michael Fletcher, Thomas Fletcher and George Fletcher, all of Bedford; one daughter, Jeanine Spaulding of Bedford; two sisters, Mary Bridges of Bedford and Rebecca Chase of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Duane Fletcher; two sisters, Lois Burford and Clara Brooking; one brother, Bill Burford; and one granddaughter.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
