"MRS. MINNIE MARQUARDT OF ERHARD DIES - Confined To Bed For Three Years Before Death - Mrs. Minnie Marquardt, 88, pioneer resident of Erhard died at her home there Monday evening at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Marquardt had been confined to her bed for the past three years and death was due to the infirmities of old age.

Her husband preceded her in death five or six years ago. She leaves to mourn her passing four daughters and four sons. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. It is expected services will be held Saturday, but further announcement of the time and place will be made later." Fergus Falls Daily Journal
