From The Cobb County (GA) Times, 9 May 1935, page 8, column 3:
Mrs. Leonidas Scott, of Atlanta, formerly of this place, was buried Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Scott will be missed here, for she came back to quite a number of public gatherings. She was a friend to all, always cheerful and helpful wherever she was needed and the large concourse of friends attested their love for her and the lovely flowers were a tribute of love. We extend sympathy to all. Rev. Shankle, a former pastor, conducted the service.
