Mr. Cravey died Tuesday in Rockwall after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 3, 1913, in Upshur County and lived there most of his life. Mr. Cravey was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany. He married Charline Lovejoy on Oct. 25, 1947, and moved to Dallas in 1960. Mr. Cravey was a retired baker with Wyatt's Cafeterias and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Dallas.
Survivors include his wife, Charline Cravey, Dallas, two daughters Charlotte Williams, Mesquite, and Janice Usrey, Kemp; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
