Mrs. Wenske Dies In New Braunfels
Mrs. Julius Wenske of New Braunfels died in that city's hospital Sunday at 12:50 a.m. where she had been ill for some time.
Services will be conducted from the New Braunfels St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Tuesday morning at 9:15 with burial to follow in the Catholic cemetery there. The Rev. Emil Janes Wesselsky will be in charge of the services and also the Rosary to be said at the Zellers Funeral home Monday night at 7:30.
Survivors include four sons, Bennie and Walterof San Antonio; Albert of Seguin; and Raymond of Nixon; eight daughters, Mrs. Ella Votruda of Hemingford, Neb.; Mrs. Mary Lubbock of Big Wells; Mrs. Clara Wostal, Alta Loma; Mrs. Mary Wostal, Orange Grove; Mrs. Helen Mellor, Mrs. Willie Mae Schuender, Mrs. Carolyn Weidenfold, all of New Braunfels; and Mrs. Viola Mikesh of Gonzales.
Other survivors include 56 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Barch of Oregon; and Mrs. August Gremming of Dallas.
Cecilia (BEYER) WENSKE was a daugher of Johann "John" BEYER and Magdalena (BEDNARZ) BEYER, both of Austria.
She was married to Julius WENSKE on January 25, 1900 in Guadalupe County, Texas.
