George Lawson Shows, age 84, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, August 22, 1993, in the Jackson Manor Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
He was retired from the State Highway Department.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM, Monday, August 23, in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Rev. Willis Russell and Rev. Charles Wooley conducted the services.
Survivors include two brothers, William Shows of Springhill, and Archie Shows of Dodson; a number of nieces and nephews.
