Funeral for Cecil L. Atchley, 66, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), May 12, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Leroy Beard officiating.

Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.

Mr. Atchley died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1939, in Marshall County to Thaxter Woodrow Atchley and Earline Sparks Atchley.

He is survived by his wife Hazel Ann Atchley of Hartselle; one son, Thaxter Levon Atchley of Hartselle; one daughter, Rita Fay Rochester of Decatur, Tenn.; one brother, Franklin W. Atchley of Danville; two sisters, Beatrice Callahan of Danville and Anniebell Goodwin of Hartselle; and grandchildren, Elexas M. Rochester and Payton T. Rochester.

Pallbearers were Joshua Wise, Charles Bradley, Jason England, Jeffery R. Powers, Jeffery B. Powers and John Suggs.
