Mr. Dorminey was born in Irwin County March 16, 1844. His wife who was Miss mary Jayne Haynes, preceded him to the grave only a few months.
he was was a Confederate Veteran having served the South as a cavalryman During the War Between The States in the Third Georgia Calvary.
