June Turner, 68, died Wednesday, 06 MAR 2002, at the Satilla Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pearson-Treadwell Chapel with the Rev. Mike Stone and R. B. Gaskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Waynesville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are a sister, Mary Brookins of Brunswick; and two brothers, Clinton Turner of Brunswick and Herbert Turner of Blackshear; and other family. Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home in Blackshear is in charge of arrangements.
