Kyle Sims, 30, passed away Jan. 26, 2009, after a valiant battle against cancer. He was born April 19, 1978, in Las Vegas, to mother, Shirley (Reddick), and father, Derald Sims (companion, Terri Irons). Kyle's passions in life were his loving wife, Danielle; his adored son, Maxx; and a lifelong collection of "Comic Books." Kyle was an honors graduate from U.N.L.V. He was an estimator for Desert Plumbing & Heating and also free-lanced for Marvel Comics. Kyle is also survived by his brother, Travis; sister, Brittany Hunter (husband, Andy); as well as, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends. Viewing will be 2-4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, followed by a prayer service from 5-6 p.m., both at La Paloma Funeral Service, 5450 Stephanie St., Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89122. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kyle's name to Melanoma Research Foundation, 170 Townshipline Road, Bldg. B, Hillsborough, NJ 08844, 1-800-MRF-1290.
