Minnie's brothers and sisters include- Amanda Jane Freehafer Kunkel Minard, George Washington "G.W." Freehafer, an infant sister who died in 1849, Sarah M. Freehafer Simmons, Mary E. Freehafer, John H. Freehafer, Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Freehafer Cates, Augustus F. "A.F." Freehafer, Emerson Freehafer, Malissa Freehafer, Daniel E. Freehafer and an infant brother who died in 1865.
The 1900 Federal Census lists Minnie, age 33, as single and living with her father Jonathan and step-mother Hester (Fike).
Minnie and Alton C. Hills, son of Chauncey and Mary Lucinda Burke Hills, were married on March 25, 1902, in Corunna, Shiawassee County, Michigan. I do not believe that they had any children.
Minnie, age 62, died on September 9, 1929 and is buried at the Laingsburg Cemetery.

ARMINDA (FREEHAFER) HILLS - Mrs. E.J. Adams [Sylvia May Simmons] of 433 N. Mulberry Street, has received word of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Alton [Arminda] Freehafer Hills, at Laingsburg, Michigan, on Saturday morning. Mrs. Hills was formerly a resident of Butler and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Amanda Minard of Butler. Funeral services were held Monday with interment in Michigan.
