Charles Warren Mills, 79, Rt. 5, died today at Dukes Memorial Hospital after an illness of two months.
The son of Charles L. and Barbara Shively MIlls, he was born in Miami County, March 9, 1897. He was married April 20, 1922, to Edith Ginney, who died Feb. 20, 1974.
Surviving are a son, John Mills, Rt. 5, and two grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
Mr. Mills was a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home with burial in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
