Recitation of the Rosary for Joseph Wayne Quitta, 52 of Murchison, are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel in Athens. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Athens, with Rev. Pancras Savarimuthu, Celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens.

Mr. Quitta died Thursday in Tyler.

Joseph was born in Bryan, August 21, 1955 to the late Albin Frank and Elizabeth Helen Simecek Quitta.

He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and served during the Viet Nam Conflict 1974-1978, was an Aviation Mechanic. He received an associate degree in electronics, and was a communication technician for Teletouch.

Survived by he brother and sister in law, Wes A. & Judy Quitta, Jacksonville; sisters, Marie E. Thacker, Chapel Hill; Louise Bailey, Lindale; numerous nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be: Wes Quitta, Jr., Thomas Binenski, Billy Nemec, Bryan Banks, Doug McNeece and Vicent Driggers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Grady Daniels, Mark Marucci, and Jared Trahan.
