A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Rogers Mortuary for Jack Robert Cain, 39, an East San Diego resident who died Friday in a hospital. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Cain was born in San Diego to Betty Jane (Haley) and Jack H. Cain. He was a 1963 graduate of Hoover High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He was a driver for United Parcel Service for 16 years.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; a son, Mark Cain of San Diego; two daughters, Lindsey Cain and Shari Cain, both of San Diego; two stepdaughters, Wendy Schall and Kari Schall, also both of San Diego; his parents, Jack and Betty Cain, of San Diego; a brother, Larry of San Diego; and his paternal grandmother, Ruth Cain, of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
