ALONZO PATTERSON
TAHOLAH- Alonzo Patterson, 83, a Taholah resident for the past 13 years, died at his home late Wednesday evening.

He was born October 30, 1887, in Public, Ky. He was a farmer as a young man, working his way west to Portland, Ore; arriving there about the time of World War I. He worked in Portland as a carpenter for the Union Pacific Railroad, and in 1945 moved to Warrenton, Ore., where he returned to farming.

He moved to California in 1945 and to Taholah in 1958.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by a son, Harold L. Patterson, Taholah; two grandsons, Daniel Bruce and John Mark Pattersonand a foster grandson Phillip Jones, all of Taholah; three sisters, Mrs. Fay Brown and Miss Emma Patterson, Somerset, Ky, and Mrs. Lois Bray, Ft. Meyers, Fla.; a brother Vernon, of Somerset, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced by the Coleman Mortuary in the Classified section."
