The funeral service of Mrs. J.W. Hout, 88, 1129 Dawson Rd., who died Monday, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Dalton City, Illinois, Mrs. Hout was the former Lula Nihiser. She resided in Albany for 49 years and was the oldest member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Marie Hout, Albany, and Mrs. R.R. Farie, Charleston, SC; two sons, C. Howard Hout, Albany, and Harold Hout, Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
