Christina Lane, 83, of Marlin Texas passed away peacefully on January 30, 2008 at her home. She was born February 7, 1925 in Caddo, Ok. to the late Dan Budai and Annie (Szenasi) Budai. Christina was united in marriage to Edward Lane on May 8, 1943 in Corsicana, TX. Christina was a Homemaker and helped her husband in the antique business. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lane, two brothers; Dan and Emory Budai, two sisters; Rosa Offutt, Vera Murphy. Those left to cherish her memory include; Sons; Edward, Jr. and wife Lunla; Tommy and wife Lucille; David and wife Tim; daughter, Annie Weaver; Six Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, Four sisters, Justina Cox, Lucille Brown, Ruth Boone, And Ethel Rash. It was Christina's wish that she be cremated. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:00p.m. in the Younger Cemetery in Silver City, Texas. Deacon Louis Palos will officiate. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the charity of choice.
