Linda was born on April 5, 1941, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to D. R. Virgin and Ruby Fern (Horner) Virgin. She married Calvin L. Neely on November 7, 1959, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and worked for the Chickasha Nation for three years. She attended the Church of Christ in Francis, Oklahoma, and she was a graduate of Sasakwa High School. She is survived by her husband, Calvin L. Neely of the home in Ada, Oklahoma; three daughters, Pamela Delozier and husband, Earl of Ada, Oklahoma, Paula Evans of Ada, Oklahoma, and Christa Gerhold and husband, Charles of Powell, Ohio; and four grandchildren, KaCee Thompson, Kirby Evans, Kathrine Gerhold, and Sophia Gerhold. She was preceded in death by her parents, D. R. and Ruby Virgin; one sister, Pat Lyon; and one brother, Lynn Virgin. Graveside services 2 p.m. Saturday, Vamoosa Cemetery, Konawa (Swearingen, Konawa).
