Age 81, of Hot Springs, died Thursday; born to Albert J and Mary F Buelow in Dexter MO; retired from the US Army as a Sergeant Major with 20 years of service; retired to Hot Springs in 1968, serving as Postmaster in Royal AR for another 20 years; member of First Baptist Church and Charter member of Hot Springs Baptist Church.
Predeceased by wife Peggy, eleven days earlier.
Survived by sons Steve (Donna) Buelow of Hope AR and Don V. (Tami) Buelow Jr. of Hot Springs, three granddaughters, two great grandchildren, brother Charles (Pearl) Buelow of Clinton Iowa, sister Margaret Buelow of Cape Girardeau MO, sister Georgia (L.R.) Burgfeld of Cape Girardeau MO, sister Barbara Rothweiler of St. Louis MO, and brother Marlin (Anna) Buelow of Cape Girardeau MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Hot Springs, or Arkansas Hospice.
