"Bing" Ames, 74, of Shelley passed away January 27, 2009 from cancer at
his home surrounded by family and friends. He was under hospice care.

He was born August 28, 1934 at Cleveland, Idaho to William L. and Carrie E.
Stoddard Ames. He was raised and educated in St. Anthony, Idaho where he
graduated from South Fremont High School in 1952.

Everett married Janet Burke at Idaho Falls on August 26, 1955. They raised
their three daughters in Idaho Falls.

He drove truck for V-1 Propane and then worked as a car salesman. He worked at
Reese Bowan truck lot, Ellsworth Dodge/Ron Sayer and retired from Dick Sayer
after many years of service.

Everett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Bing enjoyed camping, gardening and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Janet of Shelley; daughters, Rickie (Bob) Thompson
of Idaho Falls; Annette (Kay) Lloyd of Aberdeen; and Suzanne Ames of Shelley;
three grandchildren, Aimee Rosenberg, Adam Summers, and Kandre Ramirez, five
great grandchildren, siblings, Lucille (Evan) Gardner of Caldwell; Darrel (Nola)
Ames of Layton, UT; and Mardean Evans of Island Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Christopher Lee Jack
and Jeremiah J. Summers.

Memorial Services will be11:00 A.M. Saturday January 31, 2009 at Nalder Funeral
Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Everett Ames Memorial Fund at
the Bank of Commerce, 270 South Emerson, Shelley, Idaho 83274.
