Retired Buckeye Foreman Is Dead At Age 73
Herman I. Drewry, a retired foreman of the Buckeye Cellulose Corp, and part-time real estate salesman, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday at John Gaston Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Drewry, who was 73, was born in Greenfield, Tenn. and came to Memphis as a young man. He lived at 752¼ East McLemore. He was a Baptist.
He leaves his father, J. H. Drewry of Gleason, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. A. W. Swindell, Mrs. Fred Rogers, and Mrs. Dewey Perry all of Greenfield; and three brothers, Willard J. Drewry of 681 Landis and Flag A. Drewry, and Wayne Drewry, both of San Diego, Services will be at 10 a.m
tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
