Althea, had the most beautiful read hair, freckles, and blue eyes. She was a strong woman of her time. She fought for our human rights by working with the American Legion. She believed in her pioneer heritage and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Her children and family came first in her life. She was a marvelous seamtress, making sure that all of her grandchildren were properly clothed as well as sewing clothing for her own four boys. She was very courageous having lost a daughter to scarlet fever. She out lived four of her five children. Her house was always immaculate, though humble. She loved her roses. Her hair was red until the day she died.
