JENA — Funeral services for Mrs. Gussie Mae Wright Doughy, 83, of Jena, were at 10:30 a.m. today at the Oak Grove Baptist Church at Rhinehart with the Rev. Lawrence King, the Rev. Jessie Watkins, the Rev. Jerry Richardson and the Rev. John Ed Snell officiating.

Burial will be in Heard Cemetery at Manifest under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Doughty died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday in LaSalle General Hospital here after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include three sons, Truett Doughty of Jena, Eldon Doughty of Harrisonburg and Herbert Doughty of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dodd of Alexandria, Mrs. Mary (Jane) Richardson of Jena, Mrs. Doris (Dottie) Dumigan and Mrs. Lois Youngblood both of Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
