Clemma Molean McAdams, age 83, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at Olathe Medical Center. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, June 8, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E Loula. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Clemma was born April 17, 1923, in Oakland, Arkansas, where she worked as a school teacher. She married the love of her life, Marvin (Mack) on December 28, 1943. They lived in Arkansas for several years, then moved to Kansas City, Kansas and later Olathe, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin; parents Elva and John King; brothers Ike R King and Jay W King.
Survivors include her daughter Glenda Davis of Kansas City, Missouri; son and daughter-in-law Harold and Marcy McAdams of Belton, Missouri; grandsons and their spouses, David and Amanda McAdams of Belton, and Jeffrey and Cara McAdams of Olathe; great-grandsons Kahleb, Logan and Ian McAdams, who were the apples of her eye; sisters Hazel Yocham, of Yakima, Washington; Nina Riggs of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Berlene Witten of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Gertrude Gray of Festus, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
