I am a direct descendant of George Frederick Bollinger and our family history has been carefully documented for generations. He first visited Missouri in 1796 but emigrated
from North Carolina 1 January 1800, settling on White Water creek, where he built a mill.

His daughter Sarah (his only child) was born in 1799 in North Carolina. Her mother died soon after her birth. GFB brought the child from NC to MO when she was very young (but not 1-1-1800).
