Mildred Roche Mizell, 79 a native and lifelong resident of Washington Parish, died yesterday in St.(Francis) Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Mizell of Loranger and Fred L. Mizell of Bogalusa; two daughters, Brenda Mizell Stogner of Bogalusa and Janet Mizell Fuller of Ball; a sister Sidney R Blackwell of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Milfred Mizell; three brothers, Leon Van Norman Roche, Robert Morton Roche, and Billy Ray Roche; and a grandaughter Krystal Delynn Mizell.
Visitation will be held tomorrow from 5-9 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Jonathan Suber and Carl Wheatley officiating. Intermemt will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
