The funeral of Mrs. Tom Bowlin, 65, was held at the Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon, March 3, 1936, at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Bowlin was loved by all who knew her. Her passing brings deep sorrow to her hosts of friends.
Mrs. Bowlin was the wife of Tom Bowlin, prominent St. Clair farmer. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for more than 40 years and was widely known in the county,
She is survived by her husband, Tom Bowlin; four sons and one daughter, B. B. Bowlin, Birmingham; Milton, Alton and Mark Bowlin, Ashville; Mrs. Ethel White, Ashville; a brother, T. D. Allman, Oneonta; a sister, Mrs. A. B. Goode, Florida; and 17 grand children.
Active pall bearers were Arthur McBrayer, Sam Crow, Beal Teague, Oscar McCain, Curtis Adkins and J. O. Jones. Brother P. V. Minton officiated.
