KAPUSTA, Betty J.
Betty 79, passed quietly in her sleep Sunday, January 25, 2009, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. A 37 year resident of Lancaster, she was very active at Sacred Heart Church where she spearheaded the St. Marys Garden, and was a Minister of the Sick, and Eucharistic Minister. She was also active in St. Vincent DePaul, Knights Wives, and numerous youth and charitable organizations throughout the Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, daughter Deborah, and great-grandson Alex. She is survived by five children, Mark, Michael, Matthew, Melinda and Alison; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7p.m., Friday Jan. 30, 2009, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy chapel in Lancaster, Graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
